International Mast Action Freiburger Appeal

MTHR, Government and Industry say " NO PROBLEM "

as German medical establishment signs up to declaration of harm to health of citizens from mobile emissions.

Despite the ever-growing scientific evidence from around the world reporting potential for public health hazard from mobile emissions; the apparent continued indifference of the UK Government to concerns for public health permits the unfettered proliferation of many thousands of masts across the country, on hospitals, schools and too close to our communities.

The W.H.O. stresses that research into the effects on health (especially on children) from mast emissions is a priority. In the absence of any national research programme or epidemiological study into the long term biological effects of mast emissions, and in response to the many reports of health related problems experienced by our members and communities living close to base stations and antennae, MAUK is conducting its own survey.

MAUK welcomes the German initiative and urges members of the British medical establishment particularly general practitioners to register their concerns for public health from exposure to mast emissions through initiating and signing up similarly, to a British Appeal.
